What to Prepare Before Requesting a Quote

Send what you have. You do not need all of it to start - but the more of these eight items you include, the faster and more accurate the quotation.

The 8 things that matter most

A quotation is only as accurate as the information behind it

1. Dimensions

Overall width, depth and height - tell us whether the numbers are centimetres or inches. For a sofa, tell us the seat depth you want. For doors and windows, measure the finished opening, not the old door. A sketch or a photo with a rough size is enough to start.

2. Reference images

Photos of the style you want, from any source: screenshots, catalogue pages, links, or a photo of a piece you already own. Mark what you like and what you would change.

3. Quantity

One piece, a full room, or a container. This changes the price, the packing and the shipping method, so it is the first thing we ask.

4. Fabric, leather or finish

Tell us the direction rather than an exact SKU: fabric or leather, light or dark, plain or patterned, and whether pets or children will use it. If you are not sure, say so.

5. Destination

Country, city and - if you have it - the port or postal code. Shipping is a large share of the total cost of a custom piece, and it changes completely between destinations.

6. Trade term

FOB: you arrange the freight. CIF: we arrange freight and insurance to your port. DDP: we deliver to your address with duties handled. If you do not know which you need, tell us and we will quote the option that fits.

7. Timeline

When do you need it in place? Production is usually 3-6 weeks, and sea freight adds several weeks depending on destination. A fixed date affects both the production slot and the shipping method, so tell us early.

8. Budget range (optional)

Optional, but it speeds things up. If your budget falls below our range we will say so honestly rather than send a quotation you cannot use.

Two more things that help

  • Tell us whether you are a private customer or a business - retailers, designers and contractors get trade pricing and different payment terms.
  • Tell us what you are replacing, and why. It often explains a size constraint we would otherwise ask about twice.

What happens after you send it

From your message to a written quotation

1
We confirm feasibility
We reply within 1-2 business days and ask any missing questions - usually only one or two.
2
You receive a written quotation
Price covering the frame, upholstery, production time and shipping on FOB, CIF or DDP terms, so you can see the full cost before committing.
3
Specification confirmed
Dimensions, fabric and finish are agreed in writing, and production is scheduled.
4
Production and shipping
Production is usually 3-6 weeks, with progress photos during production. Payment is 50% down payment after order confirmation and 50% balance before shipment.

Questions people ask before sending

Short answers to the five most common ones

Do I need technical drawings to get a quotation?

No. A photo, a rough sketch or a written description of the piece you want is enough to start. We quote from your dimensions, fabric direction and quantity, and confirm the final specification in writing before production begins.

How long does it take to get a quotation?

We confirm feasibility and reply within 1-2 business days, after which you receive a written quotation covering the frame, upholstery, production time and shipping on FOB, CIF or DDP terms.

Can I get a quote if I have not chosen the fabric yet?

Yes. Tell us the direction - fabric or leather, light or dark, plain or patterned - and whether pets or children will use the piece. If you are unsure, we send photos of similar completed pieces so you can decide before the final quotation is confirmed.

What if I do not know whether I need FOB, CIF or DDP?

Say so, and we will quote the option that fits your situation. FOB means you arrange the freight; CIF means we arrange freight and insurance to your port; DDP means we deliver to your address with duties handled.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum. A single sofa, bed or table can be made to order, and OEM, ODM and wholesale quantities are produced on the same line for retailers, designers and contractors.
